2005

• November: DynEd releases a major upgrade of its programs and award-winning Records Manager with Intelligent Tutor. This release, MID 2.1, includes improvements in several courses, including New Dynamic English. Please update now! • September: DynEd conducts teacher training seminars in Ho Chi Minh city, Vietnam. This training was in cooperation with the Dept. of Education, HCMC.
  
  
• August: DynEd's full suite of interactive multimedia courseware examined and certified for use in Chinese schools by China's Ministry of Education's National Center for Educational Technology and the China Educational Technology Association, with unanimous approval of both juries. DynEd believes its courseware to be the only courseware of its type to receive such certification.
  
  
• July: DynEd China opens new, larger offices in Beijing -- expanding its teacher-support and technical support resources. In Singapore, DynEd launches a pilot project in cooperation with the Singapore Ministry of Education and the Language Training Institute of RELC. In Vietnam, DynEd's president, Lance Knowles is giving presentations in Hanoi in cooperation with the Hanoi University of Foreign Studies on July 23-24.
  
  
• June: The Association of Educational Publishers has announced that DynEd's newly released, supplementary title, Hospitality English is the 2005 Distinguished Achievement Award Winner in the category of Educational Software, Language Instruction. From France, the French Ministry of Education has awarded a Reconnu d’intérêt pédagogique (RIP) to DynEd's beginner course: First English.
  
  
• April: The Association of Educational Publishers has announced that DynEd's newly released, supplementary title, Hospitality English is a 2005 Distinguished Achievement Award Finalist in the category of Educational Software, Language Instruction.
  
  
• March: DynEd conducts teacher-training and program design seminars for partners in China. DynEd's president, Lance Knowles, and members of DynEd's Beijing office worked with existing and new training partners to improve and monitor quality as the size and number of programs continues to expand. DynEd's multi-modal, blended English learning approach has been embraced in important public and private sectors in China.
  
  
• February: DynEd signs agreement with Paris-based Westmill International. Westmill has now begun to market DynEd's multimedia English language solutions to major European groups as an integral part of their language training system based on individual training paths within in-company Language Centers, currently numbering more than 150. Westmill is a leader in this market segment, with an impressive list of clients and over 25 years experience of improving language skills for business people operating in an international environment.

2004

• November: DynEd releases a supplementary course for the hotel and tourist industries: Hospitality English.
  
  
• October: DynEd wins two 2004 Awards of Excellence from Technology and Learning Magazine, underscoring DynEd's continuing commitment to quality and innovation. The two winning titles were DynEd's newly released courses: First English, a beginner course for ages 10-17, and Advanced Listening, a course featuring lectures from Stanford University professors.
  
  
• August: DynEd opens a representative office in Hanoi, Vietnam and signs agreement with Hanoi University of Foreign Studies (HUFS). A 3-day seminar and training program was conducted at HUFS.

• December: DynEd's Let's Go won its eleventh honor in October - the Seal of Approval (Reconnu d’intérêt pédagogique) from France's Ministry of Education; First English due to ship Second Quarter 2004; New English Language Proficiency Program Launched in the Philippines; DynEd Hosts the First Official U.S. Sales Summit.
  
  
• August: DynEd Awards Now Top 33 Total; French Ministry of Education Award; Multiple EDDIE and BESSIE Awards; DynEd is the First and Only English-Language Training Company to be Certified by the American Society for Training and Development (ASTD).
  
  
• February: DynEd Chosen for Large Malaysian Ministry of Education Contract to Improve the English Level of 30,000 Math and Science teachers in all 13 Malaysian states.
  
  
• February: DynEd Strengthens Its Asia Presence.
  In the year when DynEd Japan celebrates its 10th anniversary, DynEd International has established three new Asian offices to support its growing business in the region. DynEd Asia Limited is located in Hong Kong with offices in Beijing and in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
  
  
• February: HUST College of Management Opens DynEd Language Lab.
  Huazhong University of Science and Technology's College of Management became the second MBA school in China to choose DynEd as its English solution provider.
  
  
• January: DynEd Announces the Development of an Intelligent Tutor that will provide feedback to teachers and help them guide their learner's study habits.
  
  
• January: DynEd Products are Highly Acclaimed in Beijing, China, by researchers, teachers, and students.
  
  

2002

• December: DynEd's ENGLISH FOR SUCCESS course is a Finalist at the SIIA (Software& Information Industry) Codie Awards 2002 in the BEST K-16 EDUCATIONAL SPECIAL NEEDS category


• September: DynEd releases a New ESL Course for Middle and High School students: ENGLISH FOR SUCCESS


• August: New DEMO (version 6.3) with more interactive presentations.


• May: DynEd releases TEST MOUNTAIN, an ideal course for learners studying for English tests such as the TOEIC and TOEFL is released. This course is designed for upper-intermediate and advanced students.


• May: DynEd's Records Manager and CLEARSPEECHWORKS are winners of the EdPress 2002 Distinguished Achievement Awards.


• March/ April: DynEd Products are Nominated for the EdPress' 2002 Distinguished Achievement Award
  Our Records Manager/iRM and our course CLEARSPEECHWORKS now carry the Association of Educational Publishers' EdPress seal as 2002 Finalist - Distinguished Achievement Award. The Association of Educational Publishers is a prestigious organization that has been serving educational publishing professionals since 1895.


• March/ April: DynEd's New Courses Presented at TESOL International
  At TESOL, the author of DynEd's newest course, ADVANCED LISTENING, ,was on hand to talk to customers. Michael Berman presented a well-attended session on Developing High-Level Academic Listening Skills. DynEd also presented on the topics of Speech Recognition: Considerations for Use in Language Learning and Developing Communicative Skills with CALL Effectively.


• March/ April: More Info on Our New Products for 2002
  TEST MOUNTAIN, ENGLISH FOR SUCCESS, and a new edition of FUNCTIONING IN BUSINESS will be released in 2002. Updates on these products are being released to distributors on a regular basis.


• January / February: DynEd Receives Certification from ASTD Certification Institute.
  DynEd's Business English Advantage Series (BEAS) Program Receives American Society for Training and Development (ASTD) Institute E-Learning Courseware Certification. DynEd has been given Vanguard status as one of a handful of e-learning products certified thus far by the ASTD Institute under their new ECC program.


• January / February: DynEd's New Courses to be Launched at TESOL 2002.
  ADVANCED LISTENING is our new, Advanced-level course based on video lectures from Stanford University Professors, and TEST MOUNTAIN is, our new, Upper-Intermediate to Advanced-level course which is ideal for test preparation.


• January / February: Our New i-RM (Internet Records Manager) Strategic Release.
  The DynEd i-RM is now up and running with a select number of clients around the world. The i-RM is an online Records Management System with Study Records hosted by DynEd. The i-RM integrates records from students studying with DynEd content on CD-ROMs, LANs, WANs, and DynEd Online Exercises.

2001

• November / December: We are finishing another round of worldwide training. We are present in India, Taiwan, Argentina, and Colombia, among other regions.


• September / October: NEW DEMO disc released!


• September / October: We are attending and exhibiting at COLOMBIA TESOL, Miami's 2001 Instructional Technology Conference, MEXTESOL, and Texas TESOL.


• September / October: DynEd's Solutions Help ESL Children and Parents Communicate in English Effectively. The Cabello Elementary School in Union City, California, is a DynEd "Success Story" that has been using our technology-based Solutions successfully to help students communicate in English. Marilyn Mackinnon, one of the school's most beloved teachers and top educator, was instrumental in setting up an English-language teaching program combining technology with English instruction for her kids. The program that features extensive use of "Let's Go" has now been in place for more than 6 years. Marilyn and her children have enjoyed the program and its many possibilities in all her classes.


• August: Join our Upcoming Summer Workshop for English Teachers (August 5-10) in Odawara, Japan.
  Mr. Lance Knowles, DynEd's founder and a recognized leader in the English-language e-Learning and CALL field, will be a Guest Speaker at the 33rd. Annual Language Institute of Japan (LIOJ) "International Summer Workshop for Teachers of English". To register, contact lioj@basil.ocn.ne.jp
